About our Faculty:


As an interdisciplinary program, LACIS is supported by over 50 Core Faculty from several departments across campus. We are also pleased to have the cooperation of over 80 Affiliated Faculty, which perform research or a portion of their teaching in Latin America, the Carribean, Spain or Portugal.


In addition, through the generosity of the Tinker and Nave Foundations, every year LACIS is able to bring scholars and professors specializing in Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain or Portugal to the UW Madison campus.

  • Have you recently updated your CV? As you may know, LACIS is partially funded by the US Department of Education's Title VI grant program.
